When Life Offers You An Orange!

I know everyone will say that I have been there and experienced it too.
Oranges are a plenty in our life and we seem to get them every season.
Difficulties are a part and parcel of life and we face them time and again.
When they do come we are stumped and don't know what to do with them.
But have you realized that they just vanish away and then we are back again to face another one. The endless cycle goes on and we have become experts in facing them.
We look at others and say- how come they have such a good life? How come they do not have to undergo such difficult times like us? The grass looks greener always on the other side but know that it is just another illusion. They too have many more difficulties than we can imagine. A boy ditches a girl and we think I just have been served an orange and we cry our heart out. But hey, the situation looks bleak enough for you but know that you just saved yourself more trouble. The after thought keep us company and we look over the trying times with a smile later on in life.
You did not get a coveted job offer and so you crib about it. Later you get another good one and you now know that had you not been rejected by the first, you might have not even known about the second.
Oranges last a season and we then look forward to sweet mangoes.
Mangoes come in various shape and sizes with variations in sweetness, color and the like. So let us look forward to better times but let us keep in mind that it is the trying times that make us stronger and better equipped to handle the vagaries of life.
Even the Gods had to face difficult times. Take the case of Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, Jesus, Buddha, Rumi, the Prophet, Meerabai and every other person that we know who looks great in reality.
Even famous people like Shahrukh Khan to Salman, Sachin to Kumble, Pele to Maradona, Lincoln to Gandhi. They all had their oranges too!
So take the challenge of facing every situation in life with a firm resolve of fighting to the last and coming out a winner in our own eyes first and then the world.
You know you have done it before and even now you can do it.
Squeeze the orange and make a nice juice of it. Drink it. Enjoy!

True, even when some thing goes wrong in life , we start cursing the God asking 'Why this to me alone'?
