My life is full of impossible situations. My mother is dying and the doctor has said she can no way survive beyond one month! It is time to pray and I don't know what else I can do. We have gone to various doctors and hospitals but there is no hope given by anyone. They all suggest that we put her in some hospice and let her have a peaceful death.  Today he was told that they are cutting down on the resources and by the coming season they will have to let him go. Every person who came to know about it said that the same is happening in their organization too. They are cutting costs and reducing the overheads so letting many people go. There is a financial downturn and the companies are not doing well. So all his good friends suggested that he take up whatever job that comes along. Even if he has to take a pay cut, he should be able to tide over these difficult times by accepting the jobs that come his way.  She is passing through financial hell. Do you remember your achievements and afterwards? How many of us actually remember the person who took his selfie from top of the tallest building or the most dangerous place? How many remember who fought in which war or died trying to save someone? Hardly anyone, except for a few relatives and friends might remember that individual. Then why does a person do extreme acts or stupid acts? Does he think anyone would remember them?  Man loves to believe that any kind of daring acts of valorous kind would make them eternal in the memories of mankind. But that is wrong thinking. How many can actually identify people from the plaques put up in memorial? Maybe one person may come up and point his own father name who might have died a martyr.  I was recently passing close to a high court and saw a marble statue pulled down and thrown in a heap. She was the old dowager who ruled over the land but today the newer regime hates her. No one cares for her statue anymore and it is fit for demolition.

How easy it is for man to feel happy or sad? It just takes a small incident to feel like that. Maybe a simple increment in salary or a promotion will put smile on the face. A death or a big fight would make the same person sad.  The toughest task is to have equanimity of mind. But how can one have that when it is raining gifts or accolades? Similarly how can one not feel sad when one fails in something or gets sacked? These are extreme emotions and it's hard not to experience them.  Every psychological impact disturbs a human being and it better do that. If it doesn't then you are either a zombie or a completely heartless person.  There are yoga classes or meditation classes which tell you how to overcome stress or anger, melancholy or tensions. Now there are medicines too which come prescribed to lower the anxiety or make you feel good. Have you noticed how the marketing of a God or Guru happens? You wonder whether a Guru is like a marketable commodity or what? Guru's dilemma can never be understood by mere disciples. Can he find anyone to transmit his complete knowledge? He seeks high and low for that elusive right disciple. Only a few can match up to the absolutely rigorous regime that he sets out with.  The most revered Gurus are full of profound knowledge and they have worked hard to acquire it.
