Look Before You Give!

Today the headlines screamed about this great philanthropist who has come to India to give back to the world. I am appalled at the way people give donations and yet want the whole world to talk about.

Once a man told Ramakrishna Paramhamsa that he wanted to build schools and hospitals for the poor so that he could give back to society. Ramakrishna got very wild on him and asked him what does he think of himself? He said that if God wants to make hospitals for the poor He will make them. What need is there for this egotist person to ask Ramakrishna if he could donate to build a hospital! Now the difficulty here is why would such a great persona say such things about someone doing a kind act of helping the needy. For that you will have to understand what actually happens.

Remember in this world every act that you do, you get back in return in the same coin.If you take Rs.100 from someone, you have to return that too in the same way.

If I buy an item worth Rs.200, I have to give Rs.200 in cash to the retailer. Now if I take the stuff and do not pay for it, I am robbing that person, right?

So the same is applicable for this donation. If I donate $50 billion to the people, they do have to return it back to me if the universal laws are right! Now when do you think these people whom you have donated will ever return you that money?

I guess they can only do that in a about a million lives.

Doesn't that bind you too? That would translate into you also coming back a million times to get the return back of what you have donated!

Funny, how people lock themselves into a million births till eternity since they have given so much to society.

Now this knowledge is not privy to these great folks since they are too busy donating and getting their little ego boosted in all the media hype and front page splashes!

The spiritual hardly care for such stuff since they know that they just want liberation from this cycle of births and never want to come back to experience the misery time and again. They do not do any such thing at all. They are just being themselves, not indulging in any acts which can cause the cycle of karma to repeat itself.

So those who are spiritually inclined please take a complete lowdown or dump on what we call donations or help from your masters before you involve yourself in another loop of worldly karma.

Those who have no clue about what I am speaking here, do not bother to involve yourself in it since it hardly matters to you. I am speaking Swahili here so do not even bother knowing about it. Please continue to do what makes you happy and take the return gifts also.You are signing up for eternity of births. Hey let me give you some more stuff here.

If you do not like being poor, yet these births you will be poor since you have to get back what you donated. Whoa! If you are rich then too, you will not get it back and you will have to get poor. So mind it, the laws of karma are very twisted to fight them. No human lawyer can get you off the hook here! So get ready to enjoy a lifetime of million births full of misery and poverty!
