Yesterday my daughter asked me this question-why do people want to know about the future when they should be bothered about the present? I answered that the future is unknown and what is hidden is more intriguing than the present day.The present is happening to us and 99% of the time we are not happy about it. So we look forward to the future which may hold the key to happiness and success.This was the great worldly knowledge that i imparted to her. I was not happy with what i told her.Then I thought back to a few days back when my dear student had asked me a question about whether we do come back to a human form after death or not.I explained to her it all depends on our karma. or what we say as Prarabdha Karma.The next life is not at all in your hands. You may come back as a tiger, cat, worm or any living creature.You may get a human form also. Or you may become a tree.The chances of getting a human form is 1:180million lives!!!That is the number of lives we are supposed to live in
