This is for all those who have no idea what it means to go without food for lack of resources. Hunger and malnutrition are one of the biggest scourge of the world.  We have always had our stomach full at all times. We never had to beg for food or water. But there are millions who never get a full meal or a canteen of water either. The only thing which we have tried out is maybe going without food for a few hours and calling it upwas meanwhile consuming stuff which provides for the lost nutrition. Maybe fruits or food filled with carbs. This is done in the name of religion or some sort of medical issue. But does it account for going hungry?  Poverty is the root cause of this disease. Food grains are not available in places due to drought, warlike conditions, desert region, paucity of funds which makes a field going fallow and so on. In places of plenty, people spend so much on colored water and beverages. These are of no use to the body, yet we love to splurge on various beers, liquor,

When your past comes to haunt you and you don't know what to do!  Everyone has left behind a horrid or unsavory past and had wanted it to die but the past has the capability to rise from the ashes much stronger. Destiny keeps us on our toes much longer than we want it to disappear.  These may be some habits that we have given up. Maybe it's drugs, alcohol, laziness, inertia, lies, people like our ex's, affairs that can never get approval of the society, sexual misconduct, espionage and secret liaisons, pilferages and theft, loans and credits, etc..  These suddenly seem to come back to us from nowhere. They show their ugly head up and keep us on tenterhooks. The factor called fear and ugliness associated with these so called shameful acts make our life miserable. We so much want them to disappear. But these are tenacious and persist till we find some solutions to it. These past circumstances blackmail us into again thinking about our hoary past. They make the devils rise.  Y

Do you give some time for God in your entire day? Hardly any or not at all! That will be your answer, I am sure.  We find time for every other activity in our life but at the end of the day, we do not have any time left for God.  Our day starts with brushing our teeth or having our morning cuppa. Thereafter we get engrossed in our day to day mundane jobs. From eating, drinking, bathing, dressing, going for our daily jobs, school, colleges or wherever that we go for work related activities, we go there! There, the entire time is used up for that which pays us to live. Returning back home, we get engrossed with household matters, play, entertainment, travel or whatever else that occupies our time. It could be a child, wife or husband, cooking, hobbies, entertaining, drinking, etc..  Later as the day becomes a night, it's sleep, sex, entertainment or other things to keep us engrossed.  In your entire day, God never even featured once. So what is it that makes us think of God?  Anytime

They say the first impression is a lasting impression. We make judgements right at the first eye contact about any individual. Same goes for the aural messages. We jump to conclusions and have likes and dislikes in place.  In politics or in school also, we have created trust or mistrusts within moments of meeting people. The factors that have determined our behavior are varied. It could be just the color of skin, the way of dressing, the gait of that person, the handshake, the utterances or even political affiliations. These can sway our mind immediately.  In my spiritual world too, I have to face these everyday. The expectancy of any individual, when they see a spiritual person are based on their own conclusions about the appearances of such a type. They have  typecasted a spiritualist as a person wearing orange or white clothes with flowing beard, saintly demeanor, walking gently, speaking softly, raising hands towards heavens at every word uttered, spouting wisdom, refined language

When did the sun ever set? Not in a million years. It only hides for a short duration of time. When it does, the doomsday sayers tell you that it is never going to rise again. They come with all remedies to avoid the doom.  But the sun rises again to a new day bringing forth the same charm. The changes that happened during its setting time were necessary and required for the creation.  Our life too runs such course. We too are like the sun and the moon. Sometimes we are raring to go like the harsh sun. Sometimes we are just starting some activity like the sunrise. Some other time some activities are coming to a close like the sunset. There are various hues in life also. The parabolic path followed by the sun are also equal in nature to our life cycle. We rise and become bright then we turn at the peak of high noon above the head. Dear Indiblogger Friends, I am writing my 300th blog on Indiblogger. I never thought I would continue here for such a long time. I have been blogging since 2003-4 but I lost my old blogs when some of the dot coms went down. Later I was much active on forums where I continued to write on spiritual subjects. My main focus has been to write on spiritual subjects which are not controversial in nature. Spirituality is for everyone and not God centeric alone. I have disciples from every type of religious or non religious groups. I am happy to see that there are some nice folks who read my blogs very regularly. Why do we possess, when we know that nothing belongs to us? We know that we have to leave everything behind when we go! The waiter brought fresh glasses of water in which one was half full. Everyone drank from others except this one. Now, we don't drink from a glass which we are suspicious about, that someone else has drunk from. But it changes when we drink from our beloveds glass even if it has some remnants in it! We identify with I, me and mine!  Our possessiveness is seen in everything so we don't eat what others have left behind.  In spiritual, the disciple is first taught to ask from unknown people. To beg for food and shelter. This is to remove shame and the biggest obstacle called EGO.  People are possessive about their relatives, houses, food, clothing, etc.. What is Good news? Do you know any media where I can find good news. Something that I can feel good about?  No! I am not talking about some books or comedy television series. They only make you laugh derisively. These are not what I am talking about. I truly and sincerely want to hear something good in this world.  I am not averse to hearing bad news but can I have some good news too! I don't love bitter, salty, pungent, obnoxious foods all the time. So can I have some sweets too?  You open a newspaper and you find crisis written all over the front page, rapes, market crashes, political mayhem, court cases, murders, fires, floods and droughts, violence and terrorist attacks, unrests, anarchy, etc.. Now show me some good news? None whatsoever. In the inner pages its all about relationship disasters, divorces, child care issues, sodomy and rapes, lgbt issues, gay marriages, etc.. The store manager and the salesman.  In a very large supermarket, the customer was looking out for a washing machine. He scanned and assessed various machines. The salesman was trying hard to push a newer and fairly unknown brand. He was finally able to convince the customer to buy that costlier brand.  A few days later, the machine stopped working. He came back to the store and lodging a complaint, went away happily.
