Compassion

When Buddha spoke of compassion we have always wondered how it works and in our life should we be compassionate to everyone?
If someone acts miserably with us, is it necessary for us to give back that person in the same coin or should our behavior be different?
Let me tell you here, if someone is mean and acting difficult with us, we should be very kind to that person and help him out with his difficulties. Now you may ask why should I do that? That is because you are not him but a completely different beautiful individual. If someone stoops low, we need not stoop at that level and become as mean as others.
If someone wants to be a gutter water, why should we become like him? And if we do then what would be the difference between us and him?
They can be pigs but let us be human and nice creatures.
We should learn to work with harmony and peace and create a healthy environment for ourselves. Our parents and Guru's have never taught us to be mean or ugly creatures, so why then become one?
Goodness may not pay back but at least you will feel nice about your own self that you were good and tried hard to make him comfortable.
Never pay back a person in their own coin. Let us leave that job for destiny or God to do it for us.
Remember what goes around comes around so stop being mean and nasty just because the other person wants to be that way.
Be your good self and pray that he change his stance or method.
Be compassionate to one and all and learn to love even your enemies.
Be sympathetic to all of them since they deserve our sympathy more than our hatred.
Keep the faith and love will be with you.
I love Buddha's methods of showing compassion to one and all. Be a Buddha!
