Time For A Break?

Have you noticed that in todays day and age the new age families have no time for anything except for sleep and work?
Let me give you an example. The man works for a company with very odd hours. He sleeps till late afternoon. His wife says-whom should I get up for, so she too sleeps late or goes back to sleep once her kid goes by the school bus at 7am. Her maid mostly does all the stuff of packing the dabba, making the kid get up, putting his clothes on and so on. Memsaab is very tired since she goes to work everyday. Her work does not take her out of the house 4 days in a week. she logs on to the network and seems busy on her laptop. Meanwhile surfing various sites and chatting on phone and sametime. She looks busy when there is a scheduled call which is mostly silent and she is watching something on telly or on mail. When her name is called out she answers in a very highly interactive way and responds vigorously, just to make others think that she has heard it.The whole world talks that way and keep their day occupied.
Her husband works for a logistics company and his schedules are run by the parcels and packets and loads and timelines. He too seems busy occasionally visiting the loading bays and checking on the r-sheets.
Now the kid has hardly seen his parents awake the whole week so he too takes a nap when he comes home. The mother says it is necessary. After all aren't these schools burdening the little kids so much?
So when do they eat together or are with each other as a family?
Of course, the weekends!
He has lined up the weekend with useless activities too. The boss has asked him to deliver a bouquet to his girlfriend and take his wife out for shopping, since he has to go to China for a conference, so our poor man is busy with his bosses chores. Later on, he has lined up a Hindi movie with Mediterranean food in a fancy restaurant for which he got coupons. Then it is time to hit the gym and a game of tennis.
Sundays the in laws are coming over so the wifey is very busy with her maid of course buying groceries.
The kid has learnt to eat with his own hands at the age of 6 and that's an achievement.
Wow, so much for this fast world and time lines.
The weekend goes and it goes on forever...
Why am I forgetting the annual vacation?
Of course that is the time to go to some exotic locales like the Caribbeans and loll in the sun, with lots of booze and swim.
The booze flows and the sex goes on endlessly.
That is how the whole episodes work for the families today.
Now tell me something, do you see why the families are cracking up?
