The World Isn't Enough!

We come across so many people in our lives who want more than they can handle. Take the case of a star of yesteryear's who does television, advertisements, movies, shows and so much more that you really wonder what drives the man? Is it the drive to make more money, more fame, more adulation or is it that to get out of the Rajasic state is impossible for him? Then there are the doddering fools who want to keep their posts for such a long time that the newer and younger generation never get a chance at all. What drives these fools in doing so much with their lives?
They have reached a stage when giving up is far more important yet they continue to be so much active in their lives working hard towards some goal which is completely useless.
Take the case of this great industrialist who worked so hard to make a very big conglomerate that today his children have broken it to pieces and hiving them off after his death. So what happens to all that you made in your fast paced life? You might have won a dozen races and now no one actually remembers you at all. You might have produced or acted in some of the epic movies but no one actually remembers your name. You have been a great politico in your heydays and now you have a hospital named after you but soon they will sell it off and a new name will adorn it. So getting back to all that I said here, what have you achieved in your life?
You worked all your life hard to get money and food on the table and later when you are on your death bed you have no idea what is it that you ever did in all those 75 years.
Yes, you brought two beautiful children in this world and worked for a multinational, you got your daughter married and now you have grandchildren. You saved for the rainy day and now what is it that you achieved?
So you are still looking for that little bit of your heaven which grants you some human happiness. Remember there is no happiness in anything at all here in this universe.
You have lived millions of lives trudging forth aimlessly working yourself out till you died and then donned another garb and again continued forever.
Isn't it time that you knew what is the goal that you have to go to or reach some destination?
Do you actually know where you are heading or what you need to do?
You want to see God and so have gone to a million places searching for Him and yet haven't found Him anywhere. So is it God you are after or some wild imagination?
Kabir says that only when he was found by his preceptor that he could understand the true destination. Only He could show that all these lives I have been going after the wrong stuff.
He showered me His grace and made me know the truth.
He showed me the purpose of this life and gave me the correct path to go on.
Now that I know and have His help I shall reach my true destination and then there will be no weariness in me and I would have served this life well.
I will go home to my Masters abode from where I never need to come back ever.
