Sakshatkar-Direct Perception?
Someone asked me if we can have direct perception of the Lord Himself and I answered that it cannot happen in the way you think about it.
First let us understand what kind of God you are thinking about first and foremost.
Is He the One you see in the temple or places of worship or is He the One you do not know anything about?
So let us start from the beginning as to what you believe in.
There are people who perform miracles and magic tricks and then our belief sticks to them.
Producing ash or gold chains, walking over water, giving you magic amulets or gems, getting special favors, etc., are a few tricks performed by charlatans and our belief sticks to them.
If that were the case then even Chris Angel would be God! He walks on water, produces objects out of nowhere, floats in the air, disappears in thin air and walks through walls.
If someone has to give proof of them being God, then that one is not God at all but some person impersonating Him.
Magic tricks can be performed by means of modern technology also.
Ask yourself why would a King want to prove he is a King to anyone?
Similarly why do you think God wants you to see cheap tricks for confirming His identity?
Remember we have learnt that God has no shape, size, form and every other attribute so why were you interested in seeing a form of His?
Now let us see how it happens that some of us have experienced that in our life.
When we have absolute faith in God and there is no scope of doubt in a billionth of fraction, He does what is necessary.
He appears to you in a form of your taste and liking.
Say you may believe in Jesus or a Krishna or Saibaba or whatever, then He will manifest that form only for your satisfaction.
He/She truly has no form but so that you can experience Him, He arranges to manifest in the form of your choice.
So in conclusion, I can only say that stay away from all those crooks who want you to believe in them and only believe in that which you truly have faith in.
Remember a Jesus or a Krishna or any sage does not want to draw attention to Himself at all.
They are always wanting to be incognito and do not ever want publicity or stunts.
They have a mandate to fulfil so they have appeared here on this Earth.
Its only absolute faith in Them can you get to see and have a sakshatkar of theirs.
If you have a Guru who sells you weekend programs, magic potions, lockets, classes for your well being, charms, amulets, tours, etc etc... then kindly note that you are becoming a sucker.
No God wants to do such cheap tricks. So I do hope you got the gist of what I am trying to convey.
