Who Is Happy?

Sometimes we come across a situation when we cringe to be in our own shoes. We want to be like someone else since we believe that he/she is much better off than us. Take the case of an academician friend. "He has reached the zenith of education" was the take of one of my disciples. Does anyone ever reach the highest point ever? They are always short of it. I am sure this gentleman would want to win a Nobel or have a chair in the great University he went to. Next we think the other person earns more than us. Take the case of a person who earns a very big amount. After investigating it was found that he has to do that since he has an autistic child at home. The same was the case of another where they had a Downs syndrome girl at home. Sad and painful! Now would you consider being in that persons shoes even if you were given a billion Dollars?

Take the case of a man who says that he is happy with his wife and the relationship he shares with her. They act like a very lovey-dovey couple in front of the public. After investigating we found that the man has strange habits of seeking sexual favors from other women. Now why would this man do such a thing? Take the case of this very beautiful woman also. You should see the darting glances she gives the hunky males around her. And by the way, she is always surrounded by such people who are waiting for her to show them the bedroom! So isn't such a marriage a great sham? Then there is another case where the person dotes on her children so much and makes a show of loving them in public. The back ground is murky here too. The young grownup daughter has a roaring affair with a guy and the parents are not even aware of it. She acts out beautifully at home. The son is homosexually involved with another, but shows he is straight too.

Then there is another who talks of so much money that he can take multiple holidays all the year long. Now why does he do that? Just so that he can claim miles on his airline tickets and free holidays for staying rest of the year in their properties. That's being very cheap, isn't it? Then telling the whole world how many miles he has clocked and how many free bees he got! He cannot even spend a good amount in buying a decent underwear for himself! His expenses are checked by his 'doting' wife at home. So he cannot even spend on his girlfriends ever. Such a waste of good money. Hey,he is surely a penny pincher at heart! As if he is going to his grave with the hard earned money! Now he really does not have any money to spend of his own, see? Everything is tightly controlled by his finance minister!

So anyone who tells you that they are happy in life, just take it with a bottle of salt and laugh it off. Just know that they are hiding the most obvious secret that they are the unhappiest of creatures around you!
