Story of Faith-Part 1.

One of my disciples decided to go to Shirdi to get to talk to Saibaba face to face.
She being a VIP was given a special place to sit in meditation all day long right in front of Saibaba's samadhi.
She cried her heart out to take her smoothly through the travails of life to Baba.
On the last day of her sojourn she was sitting till shej aarti or last prayer of the day before Baba goes to sleep.
After the aarti, she felt very hungry so she decided to have a pavbhaji from a road side vendor.
She asked him to make a pav bhaji and while she was standing and waiting for him to make and give her, she noticed an old man asking her for something to eat.
She offered him and the dog which accompanied him a pav bhaji.
He insisted on two, one for himself and the other for his dog.
She gave him and the dog two pav bhajis which they ate very heartily.
After finishing the old man grabbed her hand and tied a string round her wrist.
She tried to twist her hand out of his grasp but he was too strong for her.
She is a trained ex-commando,but she couldn't do anything about this incident.
The man suddenly walked away and vanished from her sight and she was left dumbfounded by this strange occurrence.
She turned around to the pav bhajiwala who was offering her a pav bhaji then.
After eating what she could in those circumstances, she asked him how much she was supposed to pay him.
He told her a figure which was for one pav bhaji only.
She took out for three and offered it to him but he refused it saying he has given only one pav bhaji.
She asked him in wonderment why did he ask for one pavbhaji's payment when he had handed her three!
The pavbhajiwala was amazed at her and insisted she has eaten only one dish and not three as she said.
The vendor had no idea or inkling about what she was talking.
She wondered whether it was a dream or was it real?
The only proof of that old man who had the pav bhaji was the thread that was tied to her wrist.
She returned back to Bangalore completely lost in awe and wonderment.
Few days later she showed the string and locket tied to her wrist to her jeweller friend, who cut it from her wrist.
It was made of pure gold!
She came to me few days later to tell me this wonderful story and I was very touched at the miracle of Saibaba.
