Have you heard people say-'I just do what the Lord tells me to do'...and just do what they think is right and not what the God wants! Take the case of Arjun and Sri Krsna standing in the battle field and Krsna is telling him to lift his bow and arrow and shoot and the poor guy is worried that he is going to kill his relatives and friends. He does not have the guts to do the Lords bidding since he thinks that it is wrong. Do you see how the small ego comes in the way? Krsna then tells him that he has anyway destined those poor blokes death, so whether Arjun kills that guy or not Krsna will have him killed. So either Arjun does his bidding or suffer the consequences. He does not explain what would otherwise happen to Arjun for disobeying. Let me tell you how it works.
