Liberation Today

Yesterday my daughter asked me this question-why do people want to know about the future when they should be bothered about the present?
I answered that the future is unknown and what is hidden is more intriguing than the present day.The present is happening to us and 99% of the time we are not happy about it. So we look forward to the future which may hold the key to happiness and success.This was the great worldly knowledge that i imparted to her.
I was not happy with what i told her.Then I thought back to a few days back when my dear student had asked me a question about whether we do come back to a human form after death or not.I explained to her it all depends on our karma. or what we say as Prarabdha Karma.The next life is not at all in your hands. You may come back as a tiger, cat, worm or any living creature.You may get a human form also. Or you may become a tree.The chances of getting a human form is 1:180million lives!!!That is the number of lives we are supposed to live in whatever form in this created universe.After that is the end of this epoch.
You can attain salvation or the great Liberation or what we call as Moksha only through the human life.This life which you have got as a human being is of great importance to attain salvation.Why do you want to waste it doing silly things. Instead please concentrate in achieving the final goal of Liberation.
So what I said earlier to my daughter has to be emphasised that PLEASE LIVE IN THE PRESENT and dont bother about the future because you really dont know whether you will be alive then.Today is the day.Please live in the present and do not bother about the future.Doi not waste this present human life that you have got by HIS grace.

Success & Failure

Yesterday one of my disciples came and asked me to say some words for her future. She was celebrating her 20th birthday. Though I speak on spiritual I told her that I will talk about her career and other such opportunities. I asked her what she would like to do after she completes her studies and the answer was-I don't know! I told her that it is useless playing football without the goal posts and opponents, so she better have a goal in life. The next was whom would she like to emulate in material worldly success and the immediate answer was Mark Zukerberg, Bill Gates, Mittal and the like! They are highly successful people in this world. Torito De Pucara in Peru

And we believe that Indians are the only ones who are very superstitious...here are two examples of roof tops of houses in Ollantaytambo, Peru. These are symbols put up atop houses and are called Torito de Pucara. Two bulls, a Cross, A cock, Jugs, flowers, bottle of wine, etc. These are symbols of fertility, prosperity and wealth.
